Why did you decide to work at Geneva Global?

I was looking for opportunities to apply my experience in international development and my passion for driving impact through strategic communication. Geneva Global stood out because of its focus on strategic philanthropy and its emphasis on collaboration.

What brings you joy?

My dog Piglet is the silliest creature on the planet and makes me laugh every single day.

What three words would you use to describe your colleagues?

My colleagues at Geneva Global are mission-driven, smart, and creative – they’re also very fun people to work with!

What book, film or quote has shaped the way you think?

One quote that has always stuck with me is from Kurt Vonnegut’s God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater: “Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies—you’ve got to be kind.”

Vonnegut is my favorite author because of his unique blend of humor, science fiction, and humanism. The core message is that you should treat people kindly, not because of who they are or what you get in return, but because we are all human.
