Milap Patel has worked at the intersections of philanthropy, climate advocacy, and social justice for over 14 years. Most recently, he was Deputy Director at an international climate regranter where he oversaw internal systems and processes such as evaluation, grant-making, and team management. At Geneva Global, he works as a Senior Philanthropy Advisor with large foundations on their philanthropic and funding strategies.
He received a Master in Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Development Studies from the University of Sussex, UK. He sits on the board of several national and international LBTQ+ organizations and is originally from Nairobi, Kenya.
