Co-Develop emerged as a response to the urgent need to support countries to develop and advance digital transformation through the adoption of safe and inclusive digital public infrastructure. In search of a fitting home for its financial management and human resource services, Global Impact stepped forward to provide a nurturing environment for its growth and development.
Global Impact, the parent organization of Geneva Global, enabled Co-Develop to secure grants from around the world, manage and report on incoming funds, and pursue new grant opportunities. By providing comprehensive financial management services, Global Impact offered Co-Develop the flexibility to navigate complex international grants and regulatory requirements, allowing them to focus on their collaborative mission. Additionally, Global Impact supported the organization with subgrant management, human resource services, and Professional Employer Organization (PEO) management to facilitate international staffing needs.
As a result, Co-Develop has received over $30 million in funding for the project to date and oversees more than $4 million across twenty-four sub-grants, collaborating with partners in the Caribbean, Africa, Asia Pacific, and South America to advance their mission. The organization supports a team of nine employees, including six based in the U.S. and three internationally.
