Geneva Global Design & Implementation Team Intern 

Are you looking to make an impact in a dynamic environment where you collaborate with smart, motivated people who want to make a difference in the world?  We are looking to hire a part-time intern for the fall 2025 academic semester to strengthen our team’s strategic communications and business development efforts.

Geneva Global is a Certified B Corp that serves as a philanthropy advisor. We help foundations and individuals build a better world through effective philanthropy. Geneva Global is part of  Global Impact Ventures, a family of mission-driven organizations that serve all of philanthropy for a better world. 

The Position 

As an Intern, you’ll work closely with members of the Design & Implementation Team, which designs and implements philanthropic funds and programs across the international development and social impact sectors. This team’s strategy and portfolio are actively evolving. Your contributions will strengthen internal and external communications, support marketing and business development efforts, and generate content to enhance the visibility and effectiveness of our offerings. 

You will enjoy working on these tasks to support the team: 

  • Assist in the development of newsletters, talking points, written updates, and team presentations. 
  • Contribute to the writing and editing of thought leadership content, such as blog posts, one-pagers, or case studies. 
  • Conduct research on similar organizations, prospective partners, clients, or other trends to inform business development structure, approach, and outreach. 
  • Organize, revise, and synthesize existing content for new internal and external uses. 
  • Draft, review, or proofread business development materials, including proposals and proposal templates (in Word and PowerPoint formats). 
  • Help monitor and maintain shared materials libraries (SharePoint) and project management platforms (Asana) used for cross-team task tracking. 
  • Participate as a peer-contributor, learner, and note-taker in virtual (and potentially in-person) meetings with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, tracking important deadlines, data entry, and other administrative tasks assigned. 
  • Other team project support, as needed. 

Qualifications:  

  • Availability to work 20 hours per week for three months, with the potential for extension. (September – December 2025) You’ll receive a monthly stipend.  
  • Advanced computer skills (including Microsoft Office Suite).  
  • Preference for candidates with relevant coursework or internship experience in philanthropy or international development. 
  • Strong analytical, editing, and writing skills in English. 
  • Interest, capability, and comfort in conducting desk research and synthesizing findings. 
  • Attention to detail and design to support the final polish of collateral. 
  • Experience or interest in branding and messaging. 
  • Proactive approach to learning, asking questions, and offering ideas. 
  • Strong self-discipline in independent work.  
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and receiving feedback in a collaborative environment. 
  • Current or recent university student (Bachelor’s or Master’s level).
