Responsibilities
- Month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries
- Annual budgets and ad hoc reports
- Reviewing, approving, and monitoring accounts payable and receivables
- Vendor management, including due diligence and contracting
- Tracking restricted funder grants including monthly BvA reports
- Serving as a main point of contact for client financial needs, including project management support, vendor and sub-grantee contracts, reporting, auditing, and preparing 990 and related tax forms
- Operational needs, including liaising with internal departments such as IT and HR/payroll
Qualifying for this role means you have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration and 4+ years of experience in public accounting and nonprofit accounting. A CPA or CPA candidate is desirable. We’re seeking someone proficient in the use of Excel, Office 365, QuickBooks Online and/or NetSuite, Bill.com, and banking platforms. Hands-on experience with client relations, grant management and tracking, as well as international nonprofit organizations, is preferred.
Working at Global Impact
This is a full-time, hybrid position that is based in the Greater Philadelphia area where team members work once per week in the office. Travel to the Washington, DC headquarters to meet with the team is required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

The salary range is $80,000 – $85,000, depending on the experience you bring. On top of the competitive salary that we are offering, you’ll receive 16 paid holidays and 25 paid days off.
