Brent approaches collaboration with attentiveness and curiosity, excited to listen, knowledge-share, and grow. His creative and analytic mind and strong communication skills help Brent expertly navigate language that is both engaging and accessible. Driven by his commitment to create belonging, he also co-leads culture-building efforts within Geneva Global and across Global Impact Ventures to build a welcoming workplace for all. Placing a high value on empathy and relationship-building, Brent centers kindness in all that he does.
Prior to Geneva Global, Brent worked as an early childhood educator for eleven years, passionately teaching young children how to care for and celebrate all kinds of people. He created and implemented a diversity-based curriculum that introduced young children to human differences in race, family structure, gender identity, body type, and more ability. Brent’s devotion to compassion and belonging remains a top priority in his work at Geneva Global as he collaborates with a driven, compassionate team to build a brighter world through effective philanthropy.
Brent graduated from Eastern Mennonite University with a degree in Theater. In his free time, Brent enjoys reading queer fiction and exploring new places with his husband Joe.
