Ask me about:

Project sustainability, Speed School learner’s performance, and my professional journey and network

With a background spanning government, community organizations, and a degree in education, Ketty brings a holistic perspective to addressing educational challenges in Uganda. Ketty graduated with a bachelor’s in education from Uganda’s Martyrs University and holding certificates in education from Kyambogo University and guidance and counselling from the TASO Uganda Institute Soroti Center. In her role as a Program Officer at Geneva Global Uganda, Ketty monitors all project activities and provides routine follow-ups to schools and teachers. She also coordinates with local government authorities and communities to sensitize and mobilize these key partners on Geneva Global’s work.

Before joining Geneva Global Uganda in 2023, Ketty worked as an Education Assistant under Uganda’s Ministry of Education and Sports at the district level. She also has served various counselling roles both as the head of guidance and counselling for the Soroti Scouts Patron at the subcounty level and as an outreach counsellor with the Aids Information Center and Uganda Cares in Uganda’s Teso subregion.  Now at Geneva Global, Ketty loves the unique student-centered approach, team spirit, and professionalism that is fostered in the Speed School programs.
