Melissa joined Geneva Global from the Fleisher Art Memorial, a community art school in South Philadelphia where—as Director of Development—she helped build a culture of philanthropy and promote free to low-cost, high-quality art instruction and education programs.
Melissa began her career at Boston Center for the Arts and has worked in the arts and culture sector for over fifteen years at institutions including the Boston Mayor’s Office, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and the Bogliasco Foundation, a fellowship program for artists and scholars based in Italy. She has also held roles with the World Water Organization and the World Energy Forum, where she helped organize and execute conferences at the United Nations.
Melissa is skilled at engaging donors and funders, relationship management, and creating special events. Outside of work, Melissa has served as a trustee of the SOHO20 Gallery, founded in New York City in the 1980s to promote the excellence and diversity of women’s art.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Communications from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Indiana State University.
